D.C. Arts Center challenged local artists and designers to create a new logo representing the modern center and pay tribute to the old logo. I set out and made two sets of logos, but my primary design takes inspiration from The Public Theater in NYC since this arts center caters to art exhibits and theater plays. Therefore creating a logo that could be used for designated events and keep the brand on print collateral.
